BLM contracted Cook (KD Livestock) to roundup horses in the Sandwash Herd Area of Colorado in October 2008. They ran horses directly into trailers, one mare was trampled for over 10 minutes (but survived)- but 6 other horses died. Cook is scheduled to roundup horses for BLM throughout this winter and summer of 2010.
