April Email update
April 3, 2008
This week we received some good news from Steve Williams, Supervisor of the Custer National Forest. He told us that they would not be re-building the fence atop the Pryor Mountains, nor would they be asking the BLM to drive the horses from the Forest Service lands back into the designated Pryor Wild Horse Range. He also indicated that he had received a lot of mail, hearing from people “from Canada to New Zealand.” Your efforts on behalf of these wonderful animals are making a difference. Thank you! I will be traveling to D.C. next week to meet with the U.S. Forest Service and Montana U.S. Senator Jon Tester regarding expansion of the Pryor Wild Horse Range. I’ll let you know how it goes. Thanks so much for working to save Cloud and his herd! Happy Trails!
